Revised Version 3 Release Schedule

We, regretfully, have been compelled to push our version 3 release back to the end of 2010. We apologize to those who have purchased a pre-release upgrade anticipating a 1st quarter release.

We understand that these delays are aggravating. Please know that we need to move GroBoto along for our own survival... if we could make it happen faster we would. Circumstances beyond our control are affecting our ability to get the new version ready.

As most of you know, we are a tiny crew. GroBoto has been our life for many years. Unfortunately, in these tough economic times, third party help that we depend on has faded, or failed to materialize. We don’t have the resources to maintain the desired rate of development on our own.

We continue to make progress, and are committed to GroBoto’s continued growth. Regardless of any third party support -- we have no doubt that betas will continue to roll out, and that version 3 release will occur in 2010.

We ask for your continued support and patience.

Mac & Windows Betas released 09.13.10 — Mostly Bug fixes and more coordination of Mac and Windows Interfaces. Refinements in SeamNet Mesh generation.

Forth Windows Beta released 08.21.10 — Most of the important new Modeling Tools have been enabled (with the notable exception of the full-blown Flex Tools -- However, one of the most useful aspects of the Flex Tool set is included).

New Mac Beta released 08.06.10 — just a maintenance release as we work an catching up on the Windows side. However there have been many bug fixes (including some important ones with SeamNet Mesh generation).

We released a third Windows Beta 08.05.10. ‘Tho still a preliminary release, we have added some important new features related to modeling and editing. We will be caught up with most of the Mac Beta features in a few weeks. Full support of the new SeamNet Unified Mesh is included in this build. We will be catching up with the Mac Beta features in the coming weeks.

THe Mac version contains all of the SeamNet features plus many new modeling features.
