Sometimes you get to a point in your modelling that you realise that the boolean primitive that you're presently manipulating is the wrong one. At this point you need to put in place the new primitive, delete the old primitive and then give it the boolean role that the previous primitive had.

It may seem minor but a swap option in the right-click menu of the boolean primitive library would be nice. Most of the functionality is already there: Place at Selection Centre already scales and (if using the cluster list) places the new primitive in the cluster. All that would need to be added would be the transfer of the boolean role and deletion of the existing primitive within the same function.

    Next:
Ability to add a boolean trim to many clusters. This would decrease processing power needed (not having to track as many booleans) as well as removing unnecessary duplication in the modelling process. This would probably require a cluster list which would be another nice addition.

    Draco,

Yes, primitive swap would be a nice addition. It replaces quite a number of steps: add and remove, assign a boolean role, and most bothersome - position, scale and orient. It should naturally follow what we are getting ready for the next minor release - place at selection center with the same orientation as selection.

And cluster list, definitely. This we want to make a part of 3.5. The list will need major rework in any case, because of the new boolean structure in 3.5 (true boolean subtraction).
