    Would it be possible to change the cube primitive so that one end (say the top) can be scaleable. That way a pyramid shape can be made? Even better, if you could also scale one of the adjacent sides then all manner of funky box shapes are possible.

    You can make a pyramid by using the trim cone and snapping 45 degrees. Rinse and repeat.
