I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I think I have made a new groove in my brain wrapping my head around this but it is starting to stick. Here is my latest work in progress.
I like the way the fins move with flexing the spine. Perhaps someday it will se some animation.

Hello bjbsquared,
Yes, very nice -- quite ambitious.
Great to see some exploration of the Flex Tools.
Best Wishes,
Darrel
Nice one bjbsquared looks like a weird trilobyte millipede cross. Flex tools - I'll have to check that out.
I wanted to get this out of the way before I started attacking the booleans. This started as a doodle and kind of got out of control. I learned a bunch while making it.

It's almost impossible to tell if your almost doing the impossible or doing the almost impossible... I think.
This is a really nice combination of Bots and Primes. Maybe for a 'final public' render you might want to add some less saturated colours and/or fog ... but this is your choice, of course![]()
An odd but pleasing combination of organic and mechanical - I guess that description could be applied to a lot of what GroBoto does. Never mind booleans (for the moment) I'm still waiting for the flex tools to arrive in the Win Beta!
Hey BJB,
You are progressing nicely -- the mixing of 'hand built' and algorithmic (bot) elements is one of the most effective GroBoto paths.
As v3 progresses, we will be able to demonstrate that more clearly. Throw Flex Tools & Booleans into the mix, and it will be sweet.
Best Wishes,
Darrel
