Groboto Stopped growing bots

I am a new user, and started experimenting with Grotboto. It seems to work fine, and I was just getting into it. One day it stopped growing bots. It will display old files with auto and manual bots, but it will not grow new ones. I followed the instructions in the manual carefully. I uninstalled the program, and reinstalled it. No luck.

Am I doing something stupid? Is there a mode that will not grow autobots that I accidentally got into? Can anyone take mercy on a beginner?

Hello Chris,

Sorry for the delay (this post slipped my notice somehow).

Usually this is just a misunderstanding of the interface...

Before you can draw with a Bot it must be Loaded into the Bot Panel -- (either selected from the Library, or from the “Bots” pop-up in the Bot Panel itself).

See page 22 of GroBoto v2 Docs (pdf accessed from GroBoto's 'Help' Menu).

Simply selecting a Bot in the Library does not Load it. The best and easiest way is with the Bot Panel Pop-Up...

This is a Mac Snapshot -- but Windows is very similar.

If that is not the answer, please let me know.
