    Default Widgets - boolean primitives

Here is a bunch of little widgets I made mostly just trying to figure out how to use the boolean commands. None of them are very complex. I have this vague idea of creating a big library of such things to use as building blocks for more complex models. I hope more people will post little bundles of user primitives.

Attached is a zip of the widgets, a jpg of the widgets that are in the zip and a pic of the pod and pod door widgets rendered in Carrara.

No problem - you are welcome to them and I hope they are useful in some way.

A relative newcomer to Carrara - I got the free version 6 early last year on a cover disk and did the upgrade thing to the pro version fairly cheaply but I hardly used it until this year when I did the upgrade to vers. 8 pro. Its actually a very good program for the price. I like the general layout and the "rooms" approach. Most importantly its something I can afford to legitimately own and also afford the occasional update! It does a pretty good render and is reasonably fast. I just wish I had more time to spend with the 3D tools I've got. This is all just a hobby for me and sometimes I only manage to get a couple of hours in during a week. Oh well - I'll just keep plugging away.

BTW freez, do you (or anyone else) have any boolean clusters to add to the Resource Pool? I'd really like to see this area of the site grow.
