I haven't really used bots, and have never downloaded them so I'm not positive this will work.
But have you tried extracting the files from the zip and placing in your Groboto\Bots folder?

Let me start this off by saying I've had a lot of fun playing with Groboto as a toy.
Lately, however, I've been trying to get some work done for a commercial product using it and ... well, it can...
So I've recently gotten back in to trying to get some action figures for 3D printing. I'm primarily using Groboto as it's pretty much the only modelling program I've found that I can actually get...
Getting pretty fancy there. I like!
Groboto's strengths lie in the ability to organically create models in a dynamic and non-destructive environment.
However, if you're looking to make games it definitely would not be the only tool...
I've made a quick and dirty model reproducing a number of your shapes manually. Beveled shapes and the octacylinder can't be trusted in exports. Thankfully both are relatively simple to replicate.
...
You can build your own bevels by using an ellipsoid as an inside body trim.

Yeah - from what I understand bevels don't export by design since you can do bevels with far more flexibility in most modelling packages.
No auto-save feature that I've found.
There's a couple buried in the custom Booleans tutorials section, http://www.groboto.com/v3/Documentation/TVideos/BooleanVideo/index.html
Once you have the...
Yeah, I get those issues quite often on the PC version.
Save early, save often.
I haven't had it crash yet on my Mac, but I don't really use my Mac all that often.
Looking forward to what...
Wow, looking good.
Sadly, the current version does not allow that. I *think* they'll be allowing that with their new Booleans in 3.5, but don't quote me on that.
Looking good! Needs more weapons though. Robots are good, but they're better when they take destruction and doom everywhere they go.
If you're having trouble selecting it due to it being hidden by the original shape, you can simply "Hide Object" on the obstructer. If you're having difficulty due to it being a trim with no primary,...
Generally what I do when trying to duplicate a trim for use as a primary in a different group is first clear the Boolean role of the trim, then duplicate, then set the roles on both. You could also...
There are keyboard shortcuts for changing your axis. "1" will move/rotate along X, "2" along Y, and "3" along Z. There are also some multiple axis keys, "4" will move in an Z/Y plane, "5" in an X/Z,...

The tool axis shows the axis around which your object will be rotated, the different colored object shows the selected object that will be rotated around that axis.
So after doing a...
Are you sure they're not added? Selecting a piece does not generally select the group. You either have to
A) Change to the Select tool
B) Make sure Group is selecting instead of Single
B.2) Left...
Yeah, sorry. I added another duplicated group and scaled him down to make indented windows instead of windows that went all the way through.
If you select and delete the group that's in the...
First you select the items you want to be in the group and then you press this guy and select the group you want them to be in.

The only way I know of doing it with the current is by duplicating your body in place and then using trims to cut around where you want the opening. If you want to copy the contour exactly, you can...
If you save one of the objects to your Groboto\Primitives folder it will show up under Primitives\User Primitives in your library. Then you can either drag and drop it in to your scene, or right...
I can't help with tutorials, but the Boolean trims are simply shortcuts. Cyl-inBody, for example, is simply a cylinder that's already had its Boolean role set to In Body. Just drag it on to an...
Kenmo,
From what I've read all bevels are discarded when you export to the Unimesh. This is because most applications you import your mesh in to will give you a wider range of bevelling options....
That looks like it's an issue with one of the system fonts on your machine. If you can figure out what font(s) Groboto uses, you might need to try re-installing them.
