Background Images like Modo?

Similar to the orthographic views question is the importing background images to use as guides for design and sizing of a model. Modo allows for several images to be imported and used in different orthographic views to line up the images as well as making the images transparent for modeling. Is this something you might be adding in a future release?

Groboto is incredible, I spent many frustrated hours in Modo trying to do exactly what this program does so seamlessly.

Yes, we definitely want to add reference images, as well as reference meshes.

It's great to hear you are going to incorporate background images into Groboto I think it will be the easiest way to to get around sizing and referencing issues between Groboto and Modo. Would it be possible to bring a reference image into modo with the mesh?
