Is it just me or is there a lack of basic primitives in Groboto? Not that the default choices are bad but aside from odd shaped geometric shapes there's not enough basic geometries to play around with!

For a better idea of what I mean, take for instance any modeling app there seems to be more basic shapes to work with on average. I think more variety in that department will fill a large gap, aside from basic shapes, there should also be advanced shapes that aren't twisted or stressed out yet also not the conventional perfect figure/form either.

The library menu could use some thought, I saw a post somewhere regarding this, just thought I would add my two cents. I think the tree structure system should be replaced with a click/pop down menu that lists entire categories instead of further clicking on arrow tabs.

All menu buttons should have delayed roll over, for example under "Sene Options the main buttons are click-able but don't show what group they belong to. Either have a roll over effect showing group conventions or under the icons have the names stated. It may not sound like much but when your building complex objects and jump around you easily loose track of where you want to click.

No standard import options? I would love to see object and collada become a standard import/export option if nothing else.

The click-able menus on the top extreme left all show greyed out text, even though the options are click-able it kind of makes things bonkers. Looking at a menu with greyed out text automatically feels like its a dead end because of the visual awkwardness. Click-able buttons should appear color coded where as non used ones should be greyed out.

Import may not happen anytime soon. Groboto does not work with meshes, even though it can create and export them. And their Boolean system does not use meshes for adding, subtraction and union. We just need to think of Groboto as a 3D application that does not use polygons (or Splines or NURBS, etc). It's more like using the old school CSG primitives (Constructive Solid Geometry).

I have also complained about the grey colors used to indicate which options are available and which are not via the menus. They are all too similar to each other.

Makes sense I suppose, I knew when coming over to Groboto what to expect with Bools. I'm a Max user so had an idea of what Booleans meant, in a funny way Groboto reminds me of Spore and I'm still learning the ropes so forgive me if I come off a bit newbish :P

Anyway mods may close this thread if they like I think I got my answer!
