I want to make a series of kinetic morphs set to music of a specific duration. Is there or is there not a way to set the overall duration of a sequence before beginning the morphs?

Hello astroboy,

There is a 'Total Time' setting in the Output Panel:

To set the length of your sequence:

Create your sequence. Things will work out better if you set the durations of your Morph Pairs (in the Morph Settings Panel) so that their total time is in the ballpark of your desired Total Time.
Set the Total Time in the Output Panel -- this will scale all of the Morph Pair durations so that they add up to that exact Total Time.

Tips:

If you go back and change Morph Pair durations after setting Total Time, you will need to re-enter your desired Total Time.
It's important to be 'in the Ballpark' with your initial Morph set up because changing the length of Morph Pairs will effect motion, especially if you are using any of the Kinetic Morph options (Laggy, Springy, etc).

Please let me know if that does not get you where you need to go.

Best Wishes,
Darrel
