1. Deflector Slider

Tilt this Disc (see Using a Slider, below) with the mouse. Deflect the small balls [4], towards the targets. The bright red Dots move with the Deflector to aid aiming.

2. Ball Feeder

Fires two small balls [3] towards the Deflector.

3. Balls

Fired at the deflector by the Feeder (Balls shown in flight).

4. Roving Targets

Drive these two objects back towards the Scoring Buttons [5] & [6] with the deflected balls.

5. Main Scoring Buttons

When the Roving Targets collide with these buttons you score big.

6. Far Scoring Buttons

When the Roving Targets collide with these buttons you get the biggest score. When hit, they slide up to the tops of their poles. You can bring them back down by hitting them again with the Balls.

domeRover Game Play:

All of the action is controlled by deflecting the Balls with the Deflector Slider. Use it to drive the Roving Targets back towards the Scoring Buttons with the Balls. High scoring is only had by creating collisions between the Roving Targets and the Scoring Buttons. Hitting Scoring Buttons directly with the Balls yields small scores.

Tips:

1. •The bowl shape of the playing field tends to feed the Roving Targets back towards the center — sometimes it’s better to wait for them to drift into a better position before firing.
   

2. •You can recycle the Balls with the ‘Z’ key at any time, but note that this simply forces them to recycle immediately, interrupting their current motion.
   

Using a Slider Control:

This Gizmo has one slider: the Deflector [1].

A Gizmo Slider is an object controlled by moving the mouse. For best results, click once on the Slider object and release. This locks the mouse onto the slider allowing you to control it by moving the mouse (without having to hold the mouse button down). Click anywhere else to unlock the mouse.
